TV diagnostics

If a television will not power on or loses picture or sound, identify the fault with systematic testing.

TV will not turn on

If the standby light is off, the set clicks or shuts down immediately, have its power and control circuits checked.

If sound works but the screen is dark, test the LED strips, driver, T-CON and panel signals.

If the picture works but sound does not, check settings, output routing, speakers, amplifier and mainboard.

If a TV freezes, restarts, loses inputs or has unstable power, request board-level diagnosis.

If Smart TV apps freeze, Wi-Fi will not connect or updates fail, check the software and network path.

For lines, spots, doubled or partial pictures, test the panel, T-CON and ribbon connections.
